Job Details
- Home daily
- Primary responsibility is shuttle operations
- Haul frozen grocery products in refrigerated trailers
- No-touch drop-and-hook freight
- Average 5 to 10 shuttle runs per day
- Minimum of 3 shuttle runs required daily
- Store transfers, trailer moves, and local backhaul pickups may be required
- No deliveries into New York City
- May assist with supermarket deliveries and other company accounts as needed
Additional Responsibilities
- Occasional store deliveries with multi-stop routes
- Some deliveries may require the use of an electric pallet jack
- Drivers may return product from stores or pick up backhauls returning to the distribution center
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Inspect tractor and trailer tires
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Operate safely and legally at all times

Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to operate electric pallet jacks when required

- Strong customer service skills
