Drivers on this account deliver retail freight in dry van trailers throughout Colorado and Wyoming. Deliveries require unloading palletized freight with electric pallet jacks and liftgates, making this a hands-on position for drivers who enjoy staying active throughout the workday.

Job Details
- Semi-local dedicated account
- Deliver retail freight in dry van trailers
- Operate throughout Colorado and Wyoming
- Driver unload position
- Unload pallets using electric pallet jacks and liftgates
- Average unload time of 30 to 45 minutes
- Average 1 to 2 stops per trailer
- Consistent freight volumes throughout the year
Equipment
- Assigned automatic sleeper tractors
- Modern, well-maintained fleet
- Trucks must remain at the account during time off
- No take-home trucks
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of Class A CDL driving experience
- Ability to safely operate an electric pallet jack
- Ability to move pallets weighing up to 3,000 pounds
- Strong safety record
- Professional and dependable work ethic
Special Requirements
- Must be comfortable moving heavy pallets into stockrooms and across steep dock areas
- Must be willing and able to install tire chains when required
- Chaining may be required approximately 10 to 20 times per year
- Chaining experience is strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable driving mountain routes
- Mountain driving occurs approximately twice per week
- PTO blackout periods apply around Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
- Weekend work may be required during holiday periods
- Drivers may be assigned to:
- Other DCS accounts
- Third-party freight
- J.B. Hunt freight
- Flexibility to support other operations is required
Additional Freight Opportunities
When dedicated freight is covered, drivers may be assigned to:
- Other DCS accounts (daily rate pay)
- Third-party freight with a mix of drop-and-hook and live load/unload
- J.B. Hunt freight that is primarily drop-and-hook
